It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so that means that BYOI is back in the Izzy Room at Hasbro Children’s Hospital with Jonathan, Audrey, Barbara and our FAMs, Gia and Ava. Gia is 7 and Ava is 3. They both love Tangled, going to the park, pandas and giraffes.

Our first game of the night was Typewriter, which found Audrey and Barbara acting out “OMGia…I am 7!”, we found that Cinnamon Toast Crunch isn’t as tasty when it talks back to you. Trolley Stop saw numerous flora and fauna exploring the world of public transit. Pillars was an exciting taste of the newest Disney World roller coaster, “Catch the Panda with the Unicorn Net”. What Are You Doing feature big cat trainers, dancers, and unicorns. Sing It found our cast singing the greatest hits of Disney Princess Showdown!

It was a great night full of much-needed laughter for everyone.

It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so that means that BYOI is back in the Izzy Room at Hasbro Children’s Hospital with Jonathan, Audrey, Alan and a full house of people, including our FAM, Jazlene. Jazlene is 8, loves Tangled, swimming at the beach, and pandas.

Our first game of the night was Remake, which found Barbara, Jonathan, and Audrey remaking Tangled and featured talking animals. Sit, Stand & Lie Down saw Jonathan, Alan, and Audrey trying to stay cool at the beach. Press Conference featured Barbara as Diana Ross who invented a massive flying toaster. Catch Phrase was at a panda conservation conference and may have gotten twisted as Alan was obsessed with steaks.  Try That On For Size kept our cast busy and was an audience favorite. We closed the show with Do Run with our cast thrilled that we were able to find a word to rhyme with Jazlene!

It was a great night full of much-needed laughter for everyone.

It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so that means that BYOI is back in the Izzy Room at Hasbro Children’s Hospital with Jonathan, Audrey, Barbara and David. Joining them is our FAM Austin. Austin is 6 and far smarter than most of our cast.

Our first game of the night was Pillars, which found Barbara and Audrey as rollerblading velociraptors. David and Jonathan were unfortunate T-Rex’s who couldn’t lace up their rollerblades with their ridiculously short arms. Quickest Minute saw Jonathan and Audrey repeatedly slap themselves as they recreated Home Alone. Party Quirks saw David host a party with his guests, SpongeBob, woman who does jumping jacks when someone pours her a drink, and indecisive person. Alphabet proved that Audrey knows her ABC’s better than the three old people combined. Trolly Stop saw surfer dudes, old people, and many animals. We closed the show with a good old fashioned rap battle! Austin thinks that nobody won, but that the audience definitely lost!

It was a great night full of much-needed laughter for everyone.

It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so that means that BYOI is back in the Izzy Room at Hasbro Children’s Hospital with Jonathan, Candice, and Audrey. Joining them is our FAM Infinity. Infinity is in kindergarten and loves Barbie and Tinkerbell.

Our first game of the night was Remake, which found Jonathan and Audrey exploring what happens when Tinkerbell gets fed up with Peter Pan constantly shaking her for fairy dust. What Are You Doing examined breakfasts on Mars, interstellar travel plans, and hiccuping lady bugs. Infinity joined us for Pillers and led Candice and Audrey in an interesting new addition to the Chucky Cheese Ball pit…mops and pictures of balls. Trolley Stop found dogs, being afraid of the dark, and glacial pacing. We closed the show with a rousing game of Sing it, and learned all about the eating habits of the hybrid Polar Monkey and it’s love for frozen banana pizzas.

It was a great night full of much-needed laughter for everyone.

Once again we find ourselves at Brown University for their teen STEM summer program. Joining the students are Jonathan, David, Emily, Ally and Josh. Our FAM for the evening is Tycho. Tycho is a counselor for the students and loved breakfast, especially coffee (my kind of person).
Our first game was Pillars with Tycho acting as our pillar. Jonathan and David were at the gym discussing the finer points of spray tans, aloe, and ghost pepper ointments. Next up was Trolley Stop with slippery surfaces, tweens on cell phones, and chickens falling from the sky. Two Headed Monster saw that campfires burn monsters. Emily wowed us all in Timmy in the Well by guessing that Martha Stewart was built into a wall…but not just ANY wall…The Great Wall of China! Highlander saw David win with a rousing rendition of Cinderella. Action Figures involved yoga, exercise, undying love for brooms all while ignoring customers at Starbucks. We closed the night out with a show-stopping version of Curtain Call!

A great time was had by all…we can’t wait to go back later this summer.

Trolley Stop found more dogs, video games, and glacially paced questions. 20161005_194246-640x360It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so BYOI is back for a show at the Izzy Foundation at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Tonight we are joined by Ally, Barbara, and Jonathan.
Tonight was a quiet night at Hasbro, and the team met their FAM Ayana. Ayana is 7 years old, lives in Connecticut and really loves movies. She is VERY excited because as soon as we play a few games with her, Ayana is going to get to go home!
Tonight started off with a game of Pillars, with Ayana helping our cast find out that they wanted to see either this movie or that movie as long as they had enough snacks. We then played Say it Again and found out that Ally would be a much better zither player if she could remember to take the zither out of it’s case!

Resized_20160907_193612It’s the first Wednesday of the month so BYOI is back with the Izzy Foundation at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Joining us tonight are Jonathan, Daniel, and new BYOI members Ally and Barbara! Our FAM this evening is Fatima, she is in 3rd grade, loves cheese pizza, and Disney Cruises! We begin with Do Run and sing a song about two of Fatima’s other favorite things, Stitch and going to the beach.

Next up we played try that on for size where we learned new and interesting types of swimming and dancing. On Timmy in the Well, we found out that Mickey Mouse biked all the way to Puerto Rico. Sit, Stand, and Lie down found that Daniel does in fact convert from a chair to a bed. Alphabet featured surfers waxing poetically about board wax, and lifeguards arguing over whose turn it was to save people.

We rounded out the night with a game of Highlander which featured a Bingo game that didn’t have the prize money due…so counterfeiting fruit saved the day.
