IMAG7694_1Welcome back to another great night at the Warwick Museum of Art with BYOI! David, Josh, Candice, Amy and Emily were joined by auditioner Jonathan for the show. The late night show’s FAM was Christy! She wants to start a business soon, and loves dancing and books. Much to Candice’s chagrin, she doesn’t like Canadian accents or weather! The cast serenaded Christy in FAM Welcome Song!

We started off with shaving in Sports Commentator, where Josh did the all over cream technique and our audience member ended up with a 5 minute penalty for profuse bleeding! Lines From a Cup was fun with Candice, Amy and auditioner Kennedy! They played new coworkers at the dog groomers who were shocked about the long shift. Pavlovian Response started off with Jonathan in charge of Emily and audience member Carolyn at a dance studio. Emily had to be really confused, Carolyn had to do squats and we had lots of waving!

Remake was a blast, with “Twilight” taking place at Subway. The first remake was a Disney horror version with a rabid squirrel and skeletal birds before YouTube stars tried to remake it again at Hogwarts! Busta Rap was an epic battle of rhymes, with Jonathan as the rap master! Helping Hands was next, with Josh and Candice being helped out by two ladies from the audience. They were arguing while they cleaned a hamster cage. The final game of the night was Sing It! David and Kennedy had an awkward date at the gay bar and met a wide array of fun characters!

IMAG7691_1Happy Valentine’s weekend! BYOI was celebrating at the Warwick Museum of Art with Josh, David, Daniel, Candice, Emily and auditioner Jonathan. The family friendly show had a special FAM, since Shane was celebrating his birthday! He loves the lunch part of school, but doesn’t love the school part so much. He’d like to visit Candice’s homeland of Canada, someday. Happy, happy, birthday to Shane! Josh and Shane hosted FAM Greatest Hits, while the rest of the cast sang great songs about Shane’s life. Strangely, most of the songs were about artificial meat, and it was great!

In What Are You Doing, the cast and brave audience volunteers herded cats, had their nails painted by zebras and wrote love letters to the tooth fairy. Scary faces were needed for Revolver, and a new thumb wrestling champion was crowned! Timmy In the Well was a blast, as Jonathan had to figure out what his dogs, played by David, Emily and an audience member, were saying. It ended up that Morgan Freeman lost a book in the dishwasher! Next up was Alphabet, where ordering donuts was confusing, Daniel was heartbroken with the lack of sports love.

Story, Story, Die featured a beagle’s journey through Canada, and lots of ands! Emily was the first one eliminated in Highlander, where the players had to fetch hockey sticks, and Josh ended up performing the whole scene alone in the end. The show ended with Curtain Call, with the cast singing about waffles, Disney  and our FAM Shane!

20160212_185113It’s Friday Night and the BYOI Youth Collective is rocking their first show of 2016 with Dylan, Gabby, Rose, Rachel, Shane and Ally. Their FAM tonight was Craig who is a fireman who loves to workout and fly fish. They began by showing Craig a Day in his Life where you do Chai Tea workouts, build your “ceps” and get out done by your daughter.

Next up was Trolley Stop where they “…had… the time of their life!” In Pavlovian Response where Rachel had to cheer if someone said “and”, Dylan had to sell cookies if someone put their hands out and Gabby had to laugh manically if someone out their hands over their head. Then in Slogans, teeth were so good, they deserved a plaque. In Growing and Shrinking Machine, we had “baby” pics of a 14 year old and finally in Debate Club we learned that plaid is not fashionable!

imageThanks for coming back to see us on a snowy night! This time we had Daniel and Ian joined by auditioners Allison and Jonathan. The late night show’s FAM was Jim, who works for Blue Cross, and loves board gaming. His favorite game is Castle of Magic. He explained his fantasies of traveling, and it sounded nice and exotic. He’s bring his Cthulhu pocket watch to save the world because it would look cool! FAM Highlander was a blast at the rodeo, with Jonathan having to perform alone. Ole! Ole! Toro! In Sit, Stand and Lie Down, Daniel was a very intimidated surgeon since his patients kept waking up during surgery. Pillars had us witnessing Allison and Daniel as best friends who were turning into frienemies. Thankfully, audience members Danielle and Mark threw out great words to help out! Party Quirks was next, where friends were getting together! Ian was FDR, Jonathan was Merlin and Daniel was allergy meds.

Questions was a hit with audience members Jim and Ian playing. They wondered what the ticking noise was, a confused actor showed up for the wrong version of “Romeo & Juliet” and we witnessed the wierdest RPG ever. Up next was Blank Walks Into a Bar! The hat was dejected and just couldn’t get a head, and the data analyst walked in but walked out alone. Growing and Shrinking Machine featured a violent calculus class, a football injury and an unfortunate dentistry accident…the whole game was pretty eventful! Audience members Dennis was brave and jumped up to add to the scenes! The night ended with Irish Ditty, with the cast singing about…Daniel?
